my obsession with handwriting-the inside story...

write neatly .....
children write neatly, dirty hand writing will get it on their knuckles and i used to get them every time, but still i loved my handwriting. My primary teachers always insisted me not to join the the alphabets.....but i loved the cursive way so i followed it.......despite the bad handwriting remark every where i loved my handwriting. If i put my book at a certain angle my handwriting looked So beautiful although i couldn't read any thing so i loved it again. I guess i was in fifth standard when i was threatened to send to LKG because of my bad handwriting, it was only then that i gave a thought that may be i really had a bad handwriting so i accepted that but that really dint bother me as i was no great a student.
It was my intermediate college fest.....just to bunk one of my classes i participated in a calligraphy competition, i wrote and was so shy to submitt the entry but i dint have a choice so i submitted. I totaly forgot about it till one of my friends came to me and told that i won a second place in that. i was surprised.....well that should be an understatement.i cross checked the list till the lecturer personaly came and complimented me. i started admiring my handwriting yet again ......from then till date when i do the lettering for the prestigious NASA sheets of my college......i know its no big deal but for me yes it is a big deal...........even today even a kid comes and tells me that i have a good writing i feel so happy and just give a hearty smile in my heart........I am so obsessed about it.........
